Blink-182, Weezer, Green Day, Sex Pistols to Perform at Knocked Festival
Riot Fest 2025 has announced its impressive lineup of headliners, including Blink-182, Weezer, and Green Day. These iconic Californian pop-punk bands will grace the stage at the Chicago weekend festival alongside an array of other talented artists such as Jack White, Bad Religion, Alkaline Trio, and more. The festival, celebrating its 20th anniversary, will be held at Douglass Park from September 19-21, showcasing a diverse range of musical acts.
In addition to the headliners, the lineup for Riot Fest 2025 features OG punk legends like The Damned, Buzzcocks, and Stiff Little Fingers, as well as newer artists including Idles, The Beach Boys, and The Pogues. The announcement of these performers follows an agreement between festival organizers and the Chicago Park District to continue hosting Riot Fest at Douglass Park until at least 2027. Riot Fest founder Riot Mike Petryshyn expressed excitement about the agreement, emphasizing the festival’s commitment to independence, music, and culture, as well as investing in the surrounding neighborhoods for long-term sustainability.
Blink-182 and Alkaline Trio will embark on a joint North American tour in the fall, bringing their infectious energy to fans across the continent. Meanwhile, Weezer has plans for a series of headline shows and festival appearances in Europe this summer. Aside from their previously announced special guest slot for Deftones in London, Weezer will headline dates and festivals in various European cities, including Berlin, Zurich, Hamburg, Stockholm, Oslo, Dublin, Paris, and Barcelona.
