Vader stays strong in latest music video
Poland’s death metal legends, Vader, have just released a new music video for their track “Unbending,” which is part of their upcoming EP, Humanihility. Despite their long-standing presence in the metal scene since 1983, the band continues to deliver tight and powerful performances that rival those of much younger bands.
“Unbending” will serve as the official anthem for Poland’s Mystic Festival, as well as the closing track for the EP. The songs on Humanihility mark the band’s first new material since their 2020 album, Solitude In Madness, and their first recordings as a five-piece lineup with Mauser returning on guitar, alongside new drummer Michael, vocalist/guitarist Peter, bassist Hal, and third guitarist Spider.
If you take a listen to the track, you’ll find it hard not to headbang along to its infectious rhythm. Humanihility is set for release on May 30 via Nuclear Blast, and pre-orders are available now for those eager to secure their copy. Additionally, fans can catch Vader live at various upcoming shows across different venues.
The EP’s tracklist includes “Genocide Designed,” “Rampage,” and the aforementioned “Unbending” as the Mystic Festival Anthem 2025. Vader’s ‘March of the Unbending’ tour dates will take them through various cities in Germany, the Netherlands, France, the UK, and more, with a summer festival lineup that spans across different international locations.
With upcoming performances scheduled at prominent venues like Resurrection Fest, Rockharz Festival, and Alcatraz Festival, Vader’s presence in the metal community remains strong and unwavering. Despite the challenges of aging in the music industry, Vader showcases a resilience that defies the passage of time, proving that their passion for music and their dedication to the craft are as potent as ever.
As fans eagerly anticipate the release of Humanihility and the band’s upcoming live shows, Vader stands as a testament to the enduring power of metal music. From their early beginnings in the ’80s to their current status as icons in the genre, Vader’s commitment to delivering high-energy performances and captivating music remains unchanged, making them a force to be reckoned with in the world of heavy metal.
