Bad Mary, the New York-based glam punks, recently premiered a new live video for their song “Marz Attaqx.” This captivating video was filmed during their show at Industry in Huntington, New York, on February 21, 2025. The track “Marz Attaqx” first featured on their 2016 album “We Could Have Saved The World,” and this live rendition is part of their upcoming live album titled “Live On Long Island.”
In a conversation with Punknews, Bad Mary’s bassist and vocalist Mike Staub expressed his excitement about this live endeavor. Staub mentioned that the band had never explored the realm of live albums before. When the opportunity arose during the release party for their split EP with Mega Infinity titled “The Mega Bad Disaster Party” at Industry in Huntington, they grabbed it with both hands. Staub highlighted the incredible venue, fantastic location, amazing sound, and energetic audience that all added to the magic of the night. The decision to create a live album stemmed from the band’s foundational belief that their live performances encapsulate the true essence of Bad Mary. For them, the live show experience, with its crowd interaction and energy exchange, is at the heart of their musical journey.
The live recording captured the band at their peak, with everyone delivering stellar performances. Staub explained that every song they write and record is crafted with the intention of bringing it to life on stage.
