Bryce Leatherwood to Release Self-Titled Debut Album in May
Mercury Nashville artist Bryce Leatherwood is preparing to unveil his first-ever, self-titled album on May 16. The Georgia native and the winner of The Voice showcases his vocal talent across a set of 12 eclectic tracks on this upcoming record, staying true to his deep country roots. Some of the songs on the project are penned by notable songwriters like Jonathan Singleton, Trent Tomlinson, J.T. Harding, and Adam Craig, among others.
Reflecting on this long-awaited release, Leatherwood expresses, “Ever since I first laid my hands on a guitar at the age of 12, I’ve harbored the dream of creating my own album. Over the past couple of years, I’ve poured my heart and soul into curating this collection, selecting each tune with precision to offer the perfect glimpse into my artistry. I am immensely proud of the end result and eagerly anticipate sharing it with all of you.”
One of the new tracks on the album, titled “Shenandoah,” is already available for listeners to enjoy. This heartfelt, romantic ballad was co-written by Leatherwood alongside Jeffrey East and Josh Kelley. Drawing inspiration from his upbringing in North Georgia, surrounded by the picturesque mountains, Leatherwood sought to capture the essence of his home in this poetic composition, reminiscing on the natural beauty that has always inspired him.
