Fever Rouge releases powerful new single ‘Feed The Villain’
Brighton-based band Fever Rouge has recently released their latest single, “Feed The Villain”, giving fans a taste of their evolving musical style ahead of the upcoming EP of the same name set to be released on April 4th.
Combining elements of post-punk, indie, and alt-rock, Fever Rouge creates a sound that is both raw and polished, drawing inspiration from iconic artists like King Krule, Radiohead, Bloc Party, and The Stone Roses. The new track delves into the contrasting dynamics between impulse and morality, with a dark and brooding bass line paired with swirling psychedelic guitars that build tension before exploding into a high-energy chorus, enveloping listeners in a wave of fuzz-filled sound.
Lyrically, “Feed The Villain” delves into themes of excess, power, and consequence, navigating the fine line between self-indulgence and critique. The band’s EP as a whole further explores the concept of the “villain” in various contexts, challenging listeners to reflect on and confront these themes before it’s too late.
Following the release of “Feed The Villain”, Fever Rouge is gearing up for the launch of their full EP on April 4th, accompanied by their upcoming ‘Villain Tour’ spanning across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
