Paul Stanley’s and Gene Simmons’ sons collaborate on album’s worth of music
Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons are making their mark in the music world, following in the footsteps of their famous fathers. Recently, Evan took to Instagram to announce that he and Nick collaborated on writing an entire album’s worth of music together. Sharing a series of photos in a carousel, he expressed how quickly one song turned into ten.
A few days later, Evan posted a reel featuring himself, Nick, and singer-guitarist Jacob Bunton performing a new song they had written together. Describing that they had created the piece with their friend Jacob the day before, the clip showcased Evan and Jacob playing acoustic guitars while harmonizing with Nick in a mesmerizing three-part harmony.
Notably, Evan’s father, the legendary KISS singer-guitarist Paul Stanley, reacted to the performance with enthusiasm, commenting with a single potent word: “Magic!!!!” Even Nick’s sister, Sophie Simmons, couldn’t contain her excitement, echoing the sentiment of many fans by exclaiming, “WE WANT THE ALBUM.”
These recent updates come on the heels of Evan and Nick’s collaboration on a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence,” which they shared on Instagram back in December.
While Evan has already established himself as a seasoned musician at the age of 30, having fronted the band Amber Wild and even supporting KISS on their farewell tour, Nick is best known for his appearances on his father’s reality show “Gene Simmons Family Jewels.” Furthermore, the 36-year-old has contributed vocals to his father’s 2004 track “Carnival of Souls” and was featured on former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick’s 2010 song “Hand to the King.”
The creative energy and musical talent of Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons are undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. As they continue to collaborate and produce music together, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of their joint album. Stay tuned for more updates on their musical journey as they follow in the illustrious footsteps of their famous fathers.
