YB band marks 30th anniversary with release of new album and kit

YB, a band commemorating its 30-year milestone, is set to introduce the LP and kit album for their latest release, “Odyssey.” On the 26th, YB unveiled a new EP album titled “Odyssey” that symbolizes a fresh endeavor. This marks YB’s first foray into creating a metal album, sparking excitement among fans given their previous success with hits like “Baekhwal Whale,” “I Am a Butterfly,” and “I Must Have Loved You.”

The album features a total of six tracks, including the lead single “Ribelian” and another title track “Orchid,” which was dropped on the 5th. “Odyssey” delves into themes of external pressures, inner turmoil, self-discovery, and the pursuit of freedom. A pre-release showcase hinted at a groundbreaking fusion of YB’s signature style with heavy metal influences, garnering hype from both local and international critics.
