Shaky Knees, the popular music festival in Atlanta, is set to make a grand return to Piedmont Park this year with a lineup that promises to be one of its best yet. Founded by Tim Sweetwood in 2013, the festival will take place in September and will now be hosted at the expansive 200-acre Piedmont Park in Midtown.
This year’s lineup boasts a mix of iconic acts that will tug at the hearts of fans with nostalgia. Deftones, Blink-182, and My Chemical Romance will take center stage as headliners, along with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Public Enemy, Vampire Weekend, and the reunited Alabama Shakes led by Brittany Howard.
The festival’s diverse and rock-heavy lineup includes talents like Idles, Cage the Elephant, Devo, Mdou Moctar, Franz Ferdinand, Lucy Dacus, and the legendary “Weird Al” Yankovic making a unique festival appearance.
Known for showcasing indie artists, rising stars, and globally touring bands, Shaky Knees has solidified its reputation as a top-tier rock festival in the country. The event will also feature late-night shows in downtown Atlanta for a complete musical experience.
