their upcoming album “Funeral Music,” set to be released on May 16th via Lex Records. In anticipation of the album’s debut, the band has unveiled the lead single and accompanying music video, titled “RIP.” The concept for Funeral Music emerged as the band members pondered the music they would want played at their own memorials. This idea was a recurring theme throughout the writing and recording process, eventually culminating in a cohesive album that embodies this concept.

The lead single, “RIP,” channels a 90s rock sound influenced by bands such as Pixies, Deftones, and Nirvana. Describing the inspiration behind the track, band member Adam Intrator explains, “The aim for ‘RIP’ was to kick start feelings on what it felt like to listen to a late 90s rock song for the first time as a kid in your parents car in the backseat and asking to hear it louder. ‘RIP’ has a double meaning; it’s about both dying and being reborn.”

The tracklist for Funeral Music includes songs like “My Love,” “Chevy,” “Down,” “Clover,” and “Funeral Music.” With a total of 15 tracks, the album offers a diverse range of musical styles and influences. Fans can pre-order the album directly from Triathalon.
