The Lumineers have big news for fans – their fifth studio album, Automatic, is set to be released on February 14 through Dualtone. Following their successful 2022 album, Brightside, the Denver-based group is excited to share their latest work with the world. To give us a taste of what’s to come, they’ve released the lead single, “Same Old Song,” along with a music video directed by Anaïs LaRocca. The album, which was recorded in less than a month, celebrates 20 years of songwriting between lead singer/guitarist Wesley Schultz and drummer Jeremiah Fraites. Schultz describes the project as very current, while Fraites emphasizes the strong connection they feel when performing these new songs. It’s clear that there’s a lot of love in this record, which the duo co-produced with David Baron and Simone Felice. Before they head on a spring European/UK tour starting on April 23 in Vienna, Austria, The Lumineers have a few US tour dates this winter. Exciting times ahead for fans of the band!
