VOIVOD Starts Kickstarter Campaign for New Video Game, The Nuclear Warrior
Voivod has made an exciting foray into the world of video games with the launch of their first-ever game, Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior. The band has collaborated with Chaosmonger Studio to create this classic 2D run-and-gun Metroidvania-style adventure.
Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior boasts an original soundtrack created by Voivod guitarist Daniel “Chewy” Mongrain and composer Yann Latour, featuring voice acting by vocalist Denis “Snake” Bélanger. Drawing inspiration from Voivod’s diverse discography, the game weaves a storyline spanning from their early classics like War and Pain and Dimension Hatröss to later masterpieces such as The Wake and Synchro Anarchy. Players will experience a mind-bending tale of rebellion, survival, and cosmic horror.
