Rotten Tomatoes Launches New ‘RT’s Watch List’ Series

The platform has also expanded its pool of critics to include more diverse voices in its popular Tomatometer rating system.
In its latest move, Rotten Tomatoes has unveiled a new video series called “RT’s Watch List.” This series aims to provide viewers with exclusive interviews featuring stars and creators of various TV shows. Similar to Fandango’s “Big Ticket” film series, “RT’s Watch List” offers audiences a behind-the-scenes look at popular TV shows, including exclusive interviews, insider moments, and deep dives into the making of these titles in both broadcast and streaming.
Each episode of “RT’s Watch List” runs for approximately 20 to 30 minutes and features conversations with the cast and creators of original and franchise TV and streaming shows. The premiere episode, which aired on April 22, showcased an all-star panel discussing the second season of “Andor,” a popular “Star Wars” series on Disney+. The episode featured Rotten Tomatoes Correspondent Perri Nemiroff engaging in a conversation with stars such as Diego Luna, Adria Arjona, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller, as well as the show’s creator Tony Gilroy. Together, they provided viewers with an inside look at what to expect from the upcoming season of the show.

The success of Fandango’s “Big Ticket” film series, initiated in May 2023, has been evident with over 30 cast and filmmaker interviews attracting fans across Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes’ digital and social media platforms. Notable episodes have included interviews for popular titles such as The Little Mermaid, Barbie, Oppenheimer, Wicked, Dune: Part Two, Deadpool & Wolverine, Thunderbolts*, among others.
