New The Works books and gift store now open at Edinburgh’s Fort Kinnaird retail park
A new The Works store has recently opened its doors at Edinburgh’s Fort Kinnaird retail park, occupying the previously unused unit 22 nestled beside Beaverbrooks and Hobbycraft. The store welcomed its first visitors on Friday, drawing attention as the park’s social media team shared snapshots from inside the shop. Known for its array of art and craft supplies, books, and toys, The Works has already generated over 100 comments since its introduction to the retail park on Friday, April 12. The store’s social media post exclaimed, “The brand new The Works store is now open! Find them next to Beaverbrooks and Hobbycraft.” Existing branches of The Works can also be found at Princes Street, Cameron Toll, The Gyle shopping centers, and Straiton Retail Park in Midlothian.
Expanding its retail offerings, Fort Kinnaird retail park saw the grand opening of a sizable Home Bargains discount store in September. Following suit, in June 2024, Adidas made its debut within the premises of the former Wilko unit, signaling the park’s commitment to enriching its roster of retailers, as well as food and beverage options.
