“Fat Dog’s “Peace Song” receives reimagining by Jimmy Cauty”

Fat Dog is excited to announce the release of a new remix of their track “Peace Song” by TowerBlock1, also known as Jimmy Cauty from The KLF and The Orb. This remix takes elements from the original song, including Joe Love’s vocals, the children’s choir, and even some dog barks, and transforms them into something darker and more chaotic. Adding a jungle beat, police sirens, and an Elvis sample, Cauty puts his own spin on the track that gives a nod to rave culture.

The accompanying video, directed by Evan Lawday with 3-D modelling by Luka Davlianidze, features characters from the original “Peace Song” video dancing in the streets of South East London. The characters engage in breakdancing and the running man dance, creating a visual spectacle that complements the remix perfectly.

Fat Dog recently took the stage at BBC 6 Music’s Festival and delivered a powerful performance of their song “Running.” The band is gearing up for a headline show at London’s Troxy later this month, followed by a busy summer schedule of festival appearances, including BBC’s Radio 1 Big Weekend, Wide Awake, Green Man, Boomtown, Sziget, All Together Now, and Roskilde, among others. They will also be returning to the US in September for Atlanta’s Shaky Knees festival.
