The Hives announce global tour and debut single from upcoming album

The Hives Forever Forever The Hives will be a follow-up to their 2023 album, The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons. The band, which formed in 1993, marked their 30th anniversary with this album. The talented artists include Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist as lead vocals, Nicholaus Arson on lead guitar and backing vocals, Vigilante Carlstroem on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Chris Dangerous on drums and percussion, and The Johan and Only on bass guitar. Dr. Matt Destruction, who was on bass, retired in 2013 due to health reasons and was replaced by The Johan and Only.
Known for their high-octane live performances where they sport matching black-and-white tuxedos, The Hives have a substantial discography of six albums, with five years between their fifth and sixth studio releases. Fans of the band can expect an electrifying experience at their concerts.
The Hives’ world tour will kick off on April 12 in New York and is set to include stops in Finland, Australia, North America, and Europe. From a performance at Finland’s Provinssi festival to shows in Australia’s Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney, the band will captivate audiences with their dynamic rock music. Fans in North America can catch them on the fall leg of the tour, which includes performances in cities like Denver, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, concluding in Los Angeles.
The European and U.K. segment of the tour will see The Hives perform in cities like Oslo, Copenhagen, Berlin, Madrid, Paris, Glasgow, London, and more. The tour will culminate at Avicii Arena in Stockholm on December 6.
