Seattle Show by TRIVIUM Interrupted Due to Speaker Malfunction; Band Resorted to Rock, Paper, Scissors
Trivium experienced an unexpected turn of events during their Seattle show at the Paramount Theatre on April 1. To the band’s dismay, the speakers malfunctioned in the midst of their performance, leaving them with no choice but to wait for the technical glitch to be fixed. Without any music to play, the band decided to engage with the audience in a game of rock, paper, scissors to keep everyone entertained. Although the outcome of the game remains a mystery, the speakers eventually resumed working, allowing Trivium to conclude their show as planned.
Trivium is currently on a tour with Bullet For My Valentine commemorating the 20th anniversary of their albums Ascendancy and The Poison. Fans can purchase tickets for the upcoming shows. Additionally, Trivium followers can look forward to a new record inspired by Ascendancy slated for release in 2026.
The remaining tour schedule for Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, and other supporting acts, such as August Burns Red and Sylosis, includes various stops across the United States. Concerts are scheduled in cities like Dallas, Las Vegas, Chicago, and New York, among others. Audiences can also expect performances from Bleed From Within at selected venues throughout the tour.
In a recent interview, Matt Heafy of Trivium disclosed that re-recording Ascendancy was a demanding task due to an error that led to the deletion of the album. Despite the setback, the band re-recorded the entire album from scratch, demonstrating their commitment to preserving the vigor and passion of the original release.
Heafy also shared his enthusiasm for experimenting with a 9-string guitar and encouraged others to try it. Exploring new sounds and musical avenues with unconventional instruments has been a source of creative inspiration for Heafy, adding depth and diversity to Trivium’s music.
Fans of Trivium can expect to witness the band’s innovative spirit and dedication to their craft through electrifying performances on stage and a continuous exploration of fresh musical ideas. With upcoming tour dates and the promise of new music, Trivium enthusiasts have much to anticipate in the near future.
