Country music artist Meghan Patrick proved her dedication to her fans by braving the aftermath of a severe storm in Nashville to reach the Tortuga Music Festival. Despite the challenges posed by fallen trees, power lines, and flooding following the storm, Patrick remained committed to making it to the festival.

Early Thursday morning, Middle Tennessee was hit by severe weather, including tornado warnings, lightning, thunder, and heavy rain. The aftermath of the storm left significant destruction in its wake, with several fatalities reported. As more bad weather loomed, residents like Patrick had to navigate the debris and damage to reach their destinations.

With plans to perform at the Tortuga Music Festival in Florida over the weekend, Patrick faced obstacles when a fallen tree and power lines blocked her path. However, she refused to cancel on her fans and, with the help of her husband, Mitchell Tenpenny, and her team, found a way around the impediments.

Documenting the events on social media, Patrick shared a video showing how they overcame the challenges of the fallen tree. She expressed her gratitude to her husband and label radio rep for coming to her rescue and ensuring she reached the airport safely to make it to the festival.

Despite the hazardous conditions and obstacles encountered, Patrick remained determined to not let anything stand in her way of reaching her performance at the Tortuga Music Festival. She credited her dedication and the support of her rescuers for ensuring that she made it to the festival without any setbacks.

Fans can still catch Patrick’s set at the Tortuga Music Festival Pre-Party, where she joins a star-studded 2025 lineup featuring artists like Luke Combs, Keith Urban, and Jelly Roll. The festival promises attendees the chance to experience performances by a diverse range of acts across three stages, while also raising awareness about critical ocean issues.

Following her performance at Tortuga, Patrick will kick off a co-headlining tour with singer/songwriter Ashland Craft. The Rollin’ Stoned Tour will stop in six cities across the U.S., allowing fans to enjoy the music of these talented artists.

While Nashville continues to recover from the severe flooding caused by the recent storms, the threat of further severe weather looms.
