Rock legend John Fogerty is gearing up to celebrate his 80th birthday with a special performance at New York City’s historic Beacon Theatre this May. This one-night-only event on May 25 will feature Fogerty playing some of the classic hits from his days with Creedence Clearwater Revival, alongside his band “Travelin'” which includes his sons Shane and Tyler Fogerty.

But this birthday concert isn’t the only appearance Fogerty has planned for this year. Earlier in the year, he performed at the FireAid benefit concert in Inglewood to support victims of the devastating California wildfires. Following that, he took to the stage at the Wynn Encore Theatre in Las Vegas for a brief residency. Fogerty is set to headline several major music festivals this year including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, the Azkena Rock Festival in Spain, and the Glastonbury Festival in the UK.

While John Fogerty is best known for his role in founding Creedence Clearwater Revival with his brother Tom Fogerty, Doug Clifford, and Stu Cook, he also enjoyed a successful solo career. With a reputation as one of the greatest songwriters of all time, Fogerty has given fans timeless classics like “Proud Mary,” “Fortunate Son,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” and “Rockin’ All Over the World.”

With a music career that has spanned decades, Fogerty continues to captivate audiences with his talent and iconic songs. His upcoming 80th birthday show at the Beacon Theatre is sure to be an unforgettable celebration of his rock legacy that has left a lasting impact on music history.
