Search Results to release new album “Go Mutant”, debut new song, and announce Irish tour.

Search Results have exciting news for fans with the announcement of their upcoming new album titled Go Mutant, set to release on May 23rd. The duo, comprised of Jack Condon and Fionn Brennan, will be showcasing their latest single ‘Be Laurel,’ which is described as a barrelling alternative guitar track with a hint of a Smiths-esque jangle. In addition to ‘Be Laurel,’ the band recently released another single called ‘Wrinkled,’ following their debut album Information Blip and the Hot Night EP in December.

According to Fionn, ‘Be Laurel’ is a tribute to his childhood memories spent watching old movies with his grandmother and finding joy in Laurel and Hardy’s antics. Jack, on the other hand, admitted to having no memory of writing, playing, or recording the song, jokingly referring to it as a “complete blackout” every time.

Fans can now pre-order the album on Bandcamp and get a taste of what’s to come from Search Results. Moreover, the duo has also announced a series of live dates, starting with showcases at The Great Escape Festival and End Of The Road Festival this year. They will also be embarking on a September tour across Ireland.

The tour dates include performances in various cities such as Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Brighton, Cardiff, and Leeds in May, followed by shows in Nijmegen, Dublin, Belfast, Derry, Limerick, Cork, and Waterford in September.
