Charlotte Area Transit System reintroduces discounted pass for Lovin’ Life Music Fest
Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) is excited to announce the return of the special discounted pass for the upcoming Lovin’ Life Music Fest in the Queen City, taking place at First Ward Park from May 2-4, 2025. In an effort to enhance the festival experience for attendees, CATS is offering discounted transit passes for the second consecutive year. This initiative was reintroduced following the positive reception it received during the festival’s inaugural edition in 2024.
From now until May 1, festival-goers have the opportunity to purchase a 3-Day Unlimited Pass for a discounted price of $12.00. As the event dates draw closer, from May 2 to May 3, the unlimited pass will be available for $15.00. For those purchasing tickets on or after May 3, a Day pass is recommended, offered at a regular price of $6.60. Interested individuals can conveniently acquire their passes through the CATS-Pass App by selecting the Lovin’ Life Music Festival logo from the events section.
The passes, designated as NON-Refundable adult tickets, grant access to unlimited travel on the Gold Line, Blue Line, and bus system. These passes will be active starting from midnight on May 2 until 2 a.m. on May 5, enabling pass holders to enjoy unrestricted travel throughout this period. To facilitate transport for festival attendees residing outside the Uptown area, CATS suggests utilizing the CATS Park & Ride locations. By utilizing the express bus or light rail services from these locations, individuals can conveniently reach the festival site. Moreover, free parking is available for CATS customers at each Park & Ride location, further enhancing the convenience of transportation.
