Wet Leg recently revealed exciting news about their upcoming album, moisturizer, which is scheduled for release on July 11 via Domino Records. The British indie rock band shared their album’s first single “catch these fists” along with a captivating self-directed video shot on the Isle of Wight. In this video, the band members can be seen dancing to a boombox amidst the picturesque countryside, adding a creative touch reminiscent of their previous “Chaise Lounge” video. The band’s debut self-titled album in 2022 soared to the top spot in the UK charts, also earning them a prestigious Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

The inspiration for the new album, moisturizer, stemmed from the collaborative efforts of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, with additional contributions from bandmates Henry Holmes, Josh Mobaraki, and Ellis Durand. Composed in March 2024, the album production saw the return of acclaimed producer Dan Carey, known for his work with notable bands like Black Midi and Fontaines D.C.
