Billy Corgan reveals solo project and upcoming tour dates

He will be performing music from some of the band’s most beloved albums, including Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness, Machina/The Machines of God, Machina II, and his 2024 release Aghori Mhori Mei. The project, titled Billy Corgan and The Machines of God, will feature a band comprising Corgan himself, Kiki Wong, Jake Hayden, and Kid Tigrrr. The group is all set to hit the road on the much-anticipated A Return to Zero U.S. tour starting June 7.

The band will be releasing an 80-song Machina box set, which will be exclusively available at Corgan’s Madame Zuzu’s tea shop. In addition to the box set, there will be a remastered 16-track vinyl reissue of Machina on August 22, with pre-orders starting on June 27.

Moreover, this year marks the 30th anniversary of Mellon Collie, a landmark album in The Smashing Pumpkins’ discography. To celebrate this occasion in style, a seven-show series titled A Night of Mellon Collie and Infinite Sadness will be held at Chicago’s Lyric Opera from November 21–30, 2025.
