On March 28th, 2025, the highly anticipated album “Dark & Dangerous” by Savage Master was released under Shadow Kingdom Records. Savage Master is a heavy metal band from the US that has gained immense popularity since its formation in 2013, releasing a total of five albums to date. They have a unique sound that strongly reflects the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) style, despite being from Kentucky.

The band’s latest album, “Dark & Dangerous,” is a testament to their exceptional talent and dedication to classic heavy metal. The album kicks off with the instrumental track “Three Red Candles,” creating a tense and anticipative atmosphere. The first song, “Warriors Call,” immediately grabs the listener’s attention with its iconic metal gallop, showcasing Savage Master’s powerful presence and musical prowess.

Throughout the album, Savage Master delivers unapologetic and unabashed traditional heavy metal reminiscent of bands like Angel Witch, Girlschool, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Raven, and Rock Goddess. Songs like “Black Rider” and “The Devil’s Child” exemplify their ability to captivate listeners with their fierce energy and compelling melodies.

The album features a mix of fast-paced tracks like “Never Ending Fire,” which exudes classic heavy metal intensity, and more melodic tunes like the infectious “Devil Rock,” which blends elements of hard rock into their signature sound. Each song on “Dark & Dangerous” offers something unique, from anthemic choruses to blazing guitar solos, keeping listeners engaged and headbanging along.

One of the standout tracks, “I Never Wanna Fall In Love,” surprises with its hard-hitting guitar tones and blend of NWOBHM influences. The album’s closer, “Cold Hearted Death,” is a departure from the high-energy tracks, offering a mellower and more reflective mood that showcases the band’s versatility and musical range.

Overall, “Dark & Dangerous” is a high-octane and electrifying album that embodies the spirit of classic heavy metal. Savage Master’s ability to seamlessly blend old-school metal with modern influences sets them apart in the genre. With eleven solid tracks that pay homage to the roots of metal music, Savage Master proves they are a force to be reckoned with in today’s heavy metal scene.
