Guns N’ Roses has recently announced the departure of drummer Frank Ferrer after being with the band for nearly two decades. The band expressed their gratitude towards Ferrer for his friendship, creativity, and contributions to the band over the years. He initially joined Guns N’ Roses back in June 2006 during a live performance and continued to provide solid support for the band during subsequent tours, including their recent shows featuring the reunited core members Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan. Frank Ferrer’s final performance with the band took place on November 5, 2023, in Mexico.

In terms of the band’s future plans, Guns N’ Roses has not yet named a replacement drummer following Ferrer’s exit. However, the band has an action-packed summer ahead with a series of world tour dates scheduled from May 1 to July 31, covering Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. One notable performance in their tour itinerary is their appearance at the “Back to the Beginning” concert on July 5 in Birmingham, England. This event will mark the final shows of Black Sabbath, featuring a special reunion of the band’s original lineup members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, performing together for the first time in two decades.

Guns N’ Roses will share the stage at the “Back to the Beginning” concert with a star-studded lineup of renowned hard rock and metal bands from around the world. Joining them are Metallica, Tool, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Mastodon, and Rival Sons, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all rock enthusiasts in attendance. Additionally, the event promises “additional performances” from notable musicians like Andrew Watt, Billy Corgan, Chad Smith, Dave Ellefson, David Draiman, Fred Durst, Lzzy Hale, Jake E Lee, Jonathan Davis, KK Downing, Mike Bordin, Papa V Perpetua, Rudy Sarzo, and Sammy Hag.
