Headliners revealed for Kelowna’s Rock the Lake music festival
Kelowna’s Rock the Lake music festival, taking place outside Prospera Place this summer, has unveiled its star-studded lineup. The three-day event will feature headliners such as Simple Plan, The Sheepdogs, Sam Roberts Band, and Down with Webster. Marlon Weidlich of GSL Group, the organization behind Prospera Place, expressed excitement about the festival’s direction, emphasizing a focus on bringing in fresh, younger Canadian rock acts.
Simple Plan, hailing from Montreal, is well-known for their punk rock hits like “Perfect” and “Welcome to My Life”. The Sheepdogs, representing Saskatoon, are set to bring their classic rock vibes with tracks such as “I Don’t Know” and “Feeling Good”. Fans can anticipate an electrifying performance from the Sam Roberts Band, delivering hits from “Brother Down” to “Afterlife”. Additionally, Toronto’s Down With Webster will bring their genre-blending sound to the stage with songs like “Your Man” and “Whoa Is Me”.
Rock the Lake is scheduled to run from July 11 to 13, offering festival-goers the opportunity to purchase three-day passes for $169 plus applicable fees. The festival promises a weekend filled with non-stop rock and roll entertainment, catering to music lovers of all ages.
