Their non-profit partners receive the recognition they deserve, and the public gets to savor a concert full of undiscovered talent. In return, the talent gets to showcase their skills and demonstrate to the world what they are capable of. The Lifted Project operates entirely on a volunteer basis and does not receive any monetary compensation. All donations are directed towards their non-profit partners.

Set for April 6th, 2025, at the Center for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck, this year’s performance will support the non-profit organizations chosen by Burton. The selected non-profit partners for 2025 are Hudson River Housing, James’s Warriors, THANC, and Earth Angels Believe. The event will feature a children’s chorus, a guitar symphony, a choir, and a special guest performance by members of the audience. All songs performed will be originals written by John Burton.
