Rock band Aooo to release debut EP “Fooocus” on April 4th
Aooo, a rock band consisting of four talented members, is gearing up to release their first EP titled “Fooocus” on April 4th. This band comprises Ishino Riko as the vocalist, Surii on guitar, Yamamoto Hikaru on bass, and Tsumiki on drums. Each member brings a unique set of skills and experiences to the table, with Riko being a former vocalist of Akai Koen, Surii having hit Vocaloid songs, Yamamoto supporting well-known acts like YOASOBI and Momoiro Clover Z, and Tsumiki having worked on various hit tracks.
Their journey started with a live performance at Shibuya eggman in Tokyo, which was followed by appearances at joint band events and the release of their demo CD “Demooo” exclusively at live venues. Their first studio live video on YouTube, “Live at Studiooo #4”, generated a lot of buzz and anticipation for their official releases and live performances. The band’s first anniversary was celebrated with a sold-out one-man live performance called “OneOneOne” at Shibuya eggman, with applications flooding in.
Aooo’s first album “Aooo” was released via Echoes, a new label under Sony Music, and they marked the occasion with an outdoor free live performance at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower Cinecity Square. The band had a successful live tour titled “Aooo 2024st Live Tour “BOWWOW” and garnered attention by ranking highly on music charts and TV shows.
Now, Aooo is set to drop their highly-anticipated EP “Fooocus”, which follows the success of their debut album. The EP will feature four tracks written and composed by all band members, including their latest song “Fragile Night”. This new release promises a diverse range of genres and sounds for fans to enjoy. The first production limited edition will include a Blu-ray with the full footage of their previous live show “Flash!!!!” at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower Cinecity Plaza.
The band’s new song “Fragile Night”, now available digitally, is a love song penned by Riko Ishino with music composed by Hikaru Yamamoto. It captures a melancholic vibe suited for the spring season. Additionally, fans can look forward to the EP’s release on April 4th, with options for different editions and exclusive bonuses available at select stores.
