Blink-182 and Bring Me the Horizon headline Aftershock Festival in Sacramento
This fall, Sacramento’s Aftershock Fest is set to bring together a star-studded lineup featuring headliners such as Blink-182, Deftones, Korn, and Bring Me the Horizon. The festival, scheduled to run from October 2 to 5, will showcase over 115 acts across four stages, spanning various genres like metalcore, hard rock, emo, and pop-punk.
Tickets for the event are currently on sale, with prices ranging from $177.25 for a single-day General Admission pass to $810.70 for a four-day VIP ticket. This year, event producer Danny Wimmer Presents is introducing a new “Super VIP” ticket category, which offers perks like access to an elevated viewing area near the main stage, air conditioning, and exclusive concessions. Additionally, discounted tickets are available for military personnel, nurses, and first responders.
Deftones, fresh off hometown shows in Sacramento and San Francisco, are making their debut as headliners at Aftershock, adding to the excitement of the event. Similarly, Bring Me the Horizon will be closing out the night for the first time, while Blink-182 returns to the festival after reuniting with vocalist Tom DeLonge. Fans of Korn can also look forward to their regular presence at the festival.
Among the notable acts set to perform at Aftershock are several reunions, including Crossfade, Rev Theory, and Snot. The Bay Area will also see representation with bands like Testament, Exodus, Death Angel, and Forbidden making appearances. Good Charlotte will be making their only West Coast festival appearance at Aftershock. The festival will also feature full-album performances by bands like Trivium and Cavalera, along with a new band led by System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian, called Seven Hours After Violet.
The festival is expected to benefit from the proximity of the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas, drawing in a diverse lineup that includes All Time Low, All-American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and many others. Last year, Aftershock brought in 160,000 attendees from across the country and around the globe, generating an estimated $30 million for the region.
With a stellar lineup featuring an array of acts from different genres, Aftershock Fest promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for rock music enthusiasts this fall. Don’t miss this chance to witness some of the biggest names in rock music as they take the stage at Discovery Park in Sacramento.
