Alabama’s latest country music festival unveils lineup of 20 acts, ticket prices, and daily schedules
A brand-new country music festival, the Iron Hills Music Festival, is set to take place at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham on October 11-12, 2025. The festival aims to provide a diverse lineup of over 20 performers across two stages, showcasing an eclectic mix of legacy country artists, current chart-toppers, and up-and-coming country stars.
Some of the notable acts announced for the festival include Travis Tritt, Turnpike Troubadours, Chase Rice, Ryan Bingham & the Texas Gentlemen, Midland, and Jo Dee Messina. Other artists scheduled to perform include Maggie Rose, Eli Young Band, Dylan Marlowe, Chayce Beckham, Conner Smith, Matt Stell, and Mountain Grass Unit. Additional acts announced are Drew Baldridge, American Aquarium, Dan Spencer, Kashus Culpepper, Smokeshow Rodeo, Channing Wilson, and Tiera Kennedy, with two more acts yet to be revealed.
The festival will offer both general admission and VIP passes for attendees. VIP ticket holders will enjoy perks like a prime viewing area near the main stage, air-conditioned bathrooms, access to a VIP lounge and bar, and a dedicated entrance at the gate. General admission ticket prices will follow a tiered structure, with prices starting at an early-bird rate of $174.95 and increasing as the event date approaches. VIP pass prices will remain constant, while a limited number of super-VIP passes, known as Hoss Passes, will be available for $999.95 each, offering additional amenities such as a separate viewing area at the main stage, drink tickets, a private bar, meals, and more.
Although specific set times for each artist haven’t been released, the festival’s lineup has been divided into daily schedules for Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12. Gates will open at 12 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Performing on Saturday will be Turnpike Troubadours, Travis Tritt, and Midland, while Sunday’s lineup includes Ryan Bingham, Chase Rice, and Jo Dee Messina. Alabama-based acts Mountain Grass Unit, Kashus Culpepper, Tiera Kennedy, and Drayton Farley will also be part of the festival’s lineup.
Aside from the musical performances, attendees can expect food and merchandise vendors on-site. While parking won’t be available at Sloss Furnaces, various nearby parking lots and street parking options will be accessible to festivalgoers. The Iron Hills Music Festival is the brainchild of organizers Johnny Grimes and Chad Johnson, who are also involved in furnishing Furnace Fest, a rock and metal music event held at the same venue the weekend prior to Iron Hills.
