Keith Richards becomes a grandfather for the eighth time as daughter Alexandra welcomes her second baby
The Rolling Stones member, Keith Richards has experienced the joy of becoming a grandfather once again. His daughter Alexandra, who is 38 years old, and her husband Jacques Naudé, who is 41 years old, welcomed their second child, a son named Elvis Nova Naudé, on Monday, February 17. Alexandra shared the exciting news on her Instagram account, posting four black-and-white photos. Two of the photos were taken before the birth, while the others captured moments after the baby boy’s arrival.
Alexandra’s Instagram caption read, “4,3,2,1 💥 Love bomb drop 💥 Jacques and I welcomed our son to the world 2/17/25 💥 Elvis Nova Naudé 💥,” expressing their joy at becoming a family of four. She shared tender images of Jacques holding their newborn son, who was wrapped in a blanket, as well as a close-up shot of the baby with his eyes gently closed.
Keith Richards, best known as a member of The Rolling Stones, has managed to keep his family life mostly private throughout the years, with Alexandra following in his footsteps. Although she occasionally shares snippets of her life on Instagram, Alexandra prefers a low-profile existence, stating, “I live a very quiet life.” She expressed fear about the world and mentioned how it influences her choice not to overly post on social media, except for moments that hold great meaning to her.
Alexandra met her now-husband, film director Jacques Naudé, through mutual friends, leading to their engagement two years later in Turks and Caicos. The couple tied the knot in a nature-themed wedding in the fall of 2019 in the backyard of Alexandra’s parents’ home in Connecticut. The serene surroundings of their family home offered a perfect setting for their weekend getaways where they spend time cooking, creating, playing games, dancing, and reading.
As a proud father of five children, Keith Richards has lived a life of both fame and family. In the 1970s, he had his first three children, Marlon, Tara, and Angela, with model Anita Pallenberg. After his relationship with Pallenberg ended, Keith married model Patti Hansen, with whom he shares two daughters, Theodora and Alexandra. While Richards has mostly kept his children out of the public eye, some have chosen to embrace the spotlight. His younger daughters, Theodora and Alexandra, have pursued careers in the entertainment industry, whereas his oldest children, Marlon and Angela, lead more private lives. Sadly, Tara, his son with Pallenberg, passed away when he was just two months old.
Even though Keith Richards holds a prominent place in the music industry, he considers himself blessed in the realm of family life, stating, “I love my families… I have several — extended. And they all love each other.” His eight grandchildren add to the richness of his life, with each new addition bringing joy to his ever-growing family circle.
