J-pop Boyband Timeless Announces Addition of New Members – Final Episode of Documentary Series…
Tokyo-based J-Pop group timelesz has officially introduced their new group members. Formerly known as Sexy Zone, the group, including Fuma Kikuchi, So Matsushima, and Shori Sato, rebranded themselves as timelesz on April 1, 2024, marking a new chapter. The Netflix docuseries “timelesz project -AUDITION-” documented the audition process for recruiting new members. Presented worldwide, the series concluded on February 15, 2025, unveiling the faces of the new members. The final episode was the culmination of a journey that involved numerous contestants competing for a spot in the reformed band.
The five newly announced members, Takuto Teranishi, Yoshitaka Hara, Masaki Hashimoto, Shuto Inomata, and Taiki Shinozuka, have made timelesz an 8-member group. Japanese singer and actor Sho Sakurai from Arashi joined the group as a special host during the last round of auditions. The new group’s debut single, “Rock this Party,” was introduced as a globally released track on February 28, 2025, marking a fresh beginning for timelesz.
In addition to the new single, the album “Hello! We’re timelesz” featuring 12 tracks, including hits like “Anthem” and “RUN” from the docuseries, will be available on various streaming platforms. timelesz is gearing up to launch their first studio album post-transformation, shedding light on their creative evolution moving forward.
