According to the band, the visual storyline of ‘Gethsemane’ follows a character named Rosa, studying at the medical school of Parnassus University. After reviving a clinically deceased patient, Rosa rediscovers long-suppressed abilities from her childhood, enabling her to heal others by absorbing their suffering. Every night, instead of dreams, she experiences the pain and tales of the individuals she has aided during the day. As reality blurs, she finds herself drawn into concealed underground facilities beneath the medical school, where clandestine ancient forces overseeing the university unfold their sinister schemes.
In addition to the upcoming album, Car Seat Headrest is preparing to set out on a headline tour across the United States in 2025, with the tour dates listed below.
