In the spotlight once again is Barbara, set to release a new album in April. With James Barone of Beach House contributing to the record, Barbara’s dreamy shoegaze sound is sure to captivate audiences. Also on the rise is singer-songwriter PHIE, who, hailing from the Colorado mountains and now based in Littleton, draws inspiration from recording her latest tracks at Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals.
The Local 303 proudly presents the debut of Kalonie Kruse, an up-and-coming R&B artist from Colorado Springs supported by Anthem Music Enterprises, championing Southern Colorado talent. Zoe Stroupe, a teenage musician, brings a fresh, synesthetic twist to her folk-pop compositions, where she translates color into tender, emotive songs. Denver native Lina Corrales, reemerging after a hiatus, returns to the music scene with a solo career reminiscent of indie favorites like Soccer Mommy and Bully.
Throughout March, be sure to tune in to catch these remarkable artists and more on Local 303. Don’t pass up the chance to mingle with these talents at the Local 303 Meetup at a new location, Bar 404 in Denver, on March 24th from 6:30 to 9 p.m. This free event promises live performances from Barbara and DNA Picasso and Dominique Christina, with the opportunity to win concert tickets and other prizes while supporting local musicians.
