Today, Hiromi, the renowned pianist and composer, has released “Pendulum” from her upcoming album ‘OUT THERE,’ which features vocalist Michelle Willis. Hiromi praises Willis for her beautiful voice and musical strength. The song, a ballad-to-midtempo jazz piece with sensual neo-soul vibes, explores the ebb and flow of life. According to Hiromi, life is like a pendulum or a wave, and one must learn to navigate its twists and turns.
“Pendulum” is one of two versions of the song included in Hiromi’s 13th studio album, set to be released on April 4 under the Telarc label. The album showcases the talents of Hiromi’s Sonicwonder quartet, comprised of Hadrien Feraud on bass, Gene Coye on drums, and Adam O’Farrill on trumpet.
