Production for the documentary commenced in early 2022 while Osbourne was in the process of recording his 13th studio album, “Patient Number 9.” The filming process will extend into the summer as Osbourne prepares to take the stage with his Black Sabbath bandmates for a final performance at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, marking a significant milestone in his career.

In addition to featuring Osbourne’s immediate family, including his wife Sharon and their children, the documentary will also include insights from key figures in the rockstar’s life, such as Tony Iommi, Duff McKagan, Robert Trujillo, Billy Idol, Maynard James Keenan, Chad Smith, Zakk Wylde, producer Andrew Watt, and Billy Morrison. Sharon Osbourne emphasized the film’s authenticity in depicting the challenges Osbourne has faced, particularly in relation to his health struggles.

The documentary promises to offer a truthful and poignant account of Osbourne’s life in recent years, highlighting his resilience, courage, and unwavering spirit in the face of adversity. Through this honest portrayal, the aim is to inspire and uplift others who may be confronting similar challenges in their lives.
