Tape Op’s SXSW party a success!
The Tape Op Party during SXSW at the Beauty Bar on March 19th, 2010, was an absolute hit, and for those who couldn’t attend, we’d love to share the excitement with you. The event was a vibrant gathering with a noteworthy performance by the band Quasi and DJ sets by Ian McLagan, Rebecca Gates, Richard Barone, and me. Attendees were thrilled with the fantastic free giveaways, an abundance of complimentary drinks, and a great sense of camaraderie that filled the venue. The brilliant coordination of the event was made possible by our amazing ad rep, Laura Thurmond, and our esteemed sponsors who we owe a huge debt of gratitude to. Special mentions go out to Crow and his team for managing the door, Celeste Cleary for capturing the moments through her lens, and the impeccable service from the Beauty Bar staff.
The generous support of our sponsors was instrumental in making the evening a success. Gold sponsors included Sound Toys and Prism Sound, while Silver sponsors included Ableton, ART Pro Audio + Rock n Roll Rentals, Mercenary Audio, Steinberg, and Universal Audio. Our Bronze sponsors were Audio-Technica, BSW, Cravedog, PantyLinePress, Peerless Mastering, and the Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing.
