Madonna and her partner, Akeem Morris, were recently photographed spending quality time together in New York City. The iconic singer, aged 66, and the Jamaican professional soccer player, aged 28, were seen walking on the Upper West Side on a chilly Saturday.
Despite the temperature being above 40 degrees, Madonna was wrapped up warm in a black puffer jacket and a striped scarf covering her head. She completed her look with black oversized sunglasses, fingerless gloves, and carried a large black purse. Morris, on the other hand, opted for a white windbreaker jacket over a white t-shirt paired with beige trousers and black sunglasses.
The couple was captured getting out of a black SUV together, and they navigated their way through the busy city streets. This outing comes after Madonna hinted at a possible engagement in early January when she sported a diamond ring on her finger in photos shared on Instagram. In one of the images, Madonna proudly displayed the ring while Morris walked beside her with a smile.
Before the engagement speculation, Madonna and Morris were spotted on a stroll in December 2024, with Madonna donning a little black dress, sheer tights, and a black coat while Morris wore a white ensemble with a black puffer jacket and white trainers. The duo also enjoyed watching a soccer game in London in September 2024, where Madonna shared their excitement on social media.
Morris and Madonna’s romantic involvement reportedly began in July 2024, with the musician marking their journey together on Instagram following her recovery from a hospitalization in 2023. The couple also took a romantic trip to Italy before Madonna’s 66th birthday in August 2024.
Previously, Madonna was linked to Josh Popper, but reports suggest they parted ways in May 2024. Overall, the noticeable age gap between Madonna and her current beau has not hindered their affectionate relationship, as they continue to enjoy each other’s company and share special moments together.
