Dierks Bentley has amassed 15 Grammy nominations without securing a win, placing him in the company of artists still awaiting their first victory at the prestigious music awards. Among these artists is Chris Gehringer, who leads the pack with 21 nominations without a win, followed closely by conductor Zubin Mehta with 18 unsuccessful attempts. Post Malone recently joined Mehta in this record in the country music category following the 2025 Grammy event.

Bentley’s nominations span across various categories, including three nods for Best Country Album and two for Best Country Song. The tally of 19 country artists with a total of 116 nominations and no wins highlights the intense competition at the Grammys.

Despite not clinching a Grammy, Bentley’s accolades include the 2019 Academy of Country Music Award for Music Event of the Year for his collaboration “Burning Man” with Brothers Osborne. Continuously creating music, his recent single “She Hates Me” adds to his repertoire, which features well-received albums like “The Mountain” and “Black.”

The Grammy winners are determined through votes cast by industry members who assess submissions across various categories to arrive at the final decisions. While a Grammy win remains elusive for Bentley, his achievements in the music industry, coupled with his induction into the Grand Ole Opry and multiple nominations for the CMA Awards, underscore his enduring impact on country music.
