Rayn Alvi Maharan, the Festival Director of SOUNDSFEST, expressed that the decision to bring the festival to Jakarta was driven by the desire to create a larger platform for Soundpeople to engage with a broader audience and foster collaboration within the community.

“This is the perfect opportunity to introduce SOUNDSFEST to Jakarta, aiming to provide a more expansive experience for attendees and serve as a platform for community engagement and partnership,” stated Rayn during a press conference in Thamrin, Central Jakarta on Friday, February 21.
