Bob’s your uncle! – Long live rock

Swedish newcomers SCUMBAG MILLIONAIRE announce the arrival of their upcoming collection album with a fresh music video for a classic track. ‘Fast Bob,’ which initially emerged five years back on a shared 7″ with Swiss group Bitch Queens, is now part of the lineup for Barely Alive! Vol. 2. This compilation series gathers elusive and previously unavailable digitally tunes.

Influenced by rock veterans like Hellecopters and Turbonegro, the Scumbag Millionaire band established themselves in Gothenburg in 2014. They quickly made a name for themselves with their dynamic shows and a typically Swedish hard-working ethos in the studio. The band launched an impressive streak of twenty-six singles, starting with the independent release of ‘Full Speed Go,’ followed by their first full-length album, Speed, under the Dutch label Suburban in 2018. Their latest record, All Time Low, hit shelves in 2023, alongside the debut volume of Barely Alive! also launched the same year.

Mark your calendars for the end of May for the release of Barely Alive! Vol. 2. SCUMBAG MILLIONAIRE’s edgy rendition of ABBA’s ‘So Long’ can be found on Action Rock Jukebox 45 Series Vol. 1 by Screaming Crow Records—a compilation that recently came as a bonus for Vive Le Rock subscriptions.
