Sextile has revealed the details of their upcoming studio album ‘yes, please.’ Brady Keehn, one half of the duo, shared that the lead track ‘Freak Eyes’ explores the pressures of creating art and living a life of aspirations. The music video for the song was directed by Alfredo Lopez.

According to Keehn, the inspiration for the album’s sound came from the vibrant energy of house parties in New York. He described how certain tracks had the power to captivate everyone at the party, bringing about a collective release of emotions through singing, dancing, and an overall sense of euphoria. Keehn felt that this energy was something he hadn’t experienced in a while and wanted to recapture that feeling and share it with the world.

The band is gearing up for a series of tour dates in the UK, Europe, and North America in the coming months. They will also be making an appearance at the Rock Wertcher festival during the summer season.

The tracklist for ‘yes please’ includes songs such as ‘Intro,’ ‘Women Respond to Bass,’ ‘Penny Rose,’ ‘Push Ups,’ and ‘Kids,’ among others. The duo’s tour will kick off in February with shows in cities like Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, and Minneapolis before heading to European cities such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Vienna.

As the release date for ‘yes, please’ approaches, fans of Sextile can expect a collection of songs that capture the essence of lively, energetic house parties and a fusion of different musical influences. Stay tuned for more updates on the album and tour dates.
