The recent collaboration between Green Beam Design and CHAUVET Professional at the Pol’and’Rock Festival has left a lasting impression on festival-goers. The three-day event, which took place at the Czaplinek-Broczyno Airfield, prides itself on being the “largest free festival in Europe,” drawing in over 800,000 fans for the 30th edition. Attendees were treated to a diverse lineup of artists spanning various genres, from Nu Metal to Hip-Hop, ensuring that there was something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the standout features of the festival was the mesmerizing light show that graced the main stage. Designed by Jacek Chojczak and the Green Beam Design team, the show featured a striking automated RGB ring at the center of the expansive stage, measuring an impressive 80m x 20m with a 21m trim. The ring, equipped with a half-rounded stealth filter, was a focal point of the performances, captivating viewers with its dynamic movement and colorful displays.

To bring the ring to life, 48 CHAUVET Professional Maverick Storm 2 BeamWash fixtures were strategically positioned around the stage. These fixtures, known for their powerful output of 10,000 lumens, proved to be the perfect choice for illuminating large venues like the Pol’and’Rock main stage. By utilizing the fixtures’ 12-zone pixel mappable outer ring, which boasts 19 45-watt RGBW LEDs, Chojczak was able to create a dazzling array of colors that transformed the stage and surrounding video walls throughout the festival.

While the main stage stole the spotlight with its impressive lighting setup, the second stage was not to be overlooked. Featuring 36 Rogue Outcast 1 BeamWash fixtures, this stage was also brought to life with vibrant colors and dynamic movements that added to the overall festival atmosphere. Attendees who ventured between the two stages were met with an array of visually stimulating displays, creating an unforgettable experience for all who attended.

In reflecting on the festival, it becomes clear that the Pol’and’Rock Festival truly embodies the sentiment that “the best things in life are free.” Despite not having to pay for admission, attendees were treated to a world-class production that rivaled paid events in terms of quality and entertainment. With its rich lineup of diverse artists and unparalleled light shows, the festival stands as a testament to the power of communal celebration and artistic expression.
