Gojek partners with rock band Perunggu to promote connection
Gojek, a prominent player in the ride-hailing industry, has introduced a fresh video campaign in collaboration with the Indonesian indie rock band Perunggu. The campaign, dubbed “Pasti Ada Jalan,” delves into the themes of connection and gratitude amidst the everyday grind of life.The music video, directed by Adriel Manoe and produced by Fostive Visual, showcases individuals engrossed in their daily work routines across various settings. As these individuals pause to partake in food deliveries facilitated by Gojek or reunite with their loved ones through Gojek rides, moments of connection come to the forefront, evoking warmth and smiles.”It’s about instilling emotions in people – be it excitement, support, trust, or connection,” commented Bharat M. Buxani, the head of marketing for GoTo Group, on LinkedIn. “This is precisely the aim we had in mind for Gojek’s recent video project with Perunggu, a band renowned for their lively spirit, lyrically poetic compositions, and themes that reflect social consciousness.”Maul Ibrahim, the vocalist of Perunggu, disclosed that this marked the band’s first endeavor in creating a song for an external endeavor. “Pasti Ada Jalan” was unveiled during the band’s work on its second album.Ibrahim disclosed that Gojek held a special place in their hearts, as both he and the drummer, Ildo, had previously been part of the company, a phase in their lives that significantly impacted their personal growth.”When the offer came our way, we didn’t hesitate for a second.
