Gigant Sound, a leading sound provider in Poland and Europe’s primary inventory holder of Outline GTO equipment, once again took on the responsibility of providing, setting up, and operating the sound systems for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) Finale, Poland’s largest annual charity event. The 2025 WOŚP Finale, which took place on January 26th, managed to raise a record-breaking sum of over 178 million zloty (€42.2 million) by the end of the event.

WOŚP, established by Jerzy Owsiak, is a prominent non-governmental and non-profit organization in Poland dedicated to improving healthcare services by equipping public hospitals with necessary medical devices. Owsiak, who also founded the renowned Pol’and’Rock Festival, has played a vital role in organizing some of the country’s most significant charitable and cultural events.

In order to ensure flawless sound quality for the audience at the event, Gigant Sound utilized a robust audio setup from Outline, featuring their top-of-the-line GTO line-array systems. Specifically, in the TV studio area, they utilized Outline’s compact yet high-performance Superfly enclosures to deliver pristine sound. For signal management and reliability, both systems were powered by Outline’s FPGA-based Newton processors.

To achieve impactful low frequencies throughout the event space, Gigant Sound integrated Outline DBS18-2 sub-bass units into the main stage and TV studio setup. The meticulous planning of the entire system design and setup was facilitated by Outline’s OpenArray 3D acoustic simulation software, enabling Gigant Sound to ensure precise coverage and performance across the expansive event area.

Jerzy Taborowski, the CEO of Gigant Sound/Letus, expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the GTO system, stating that it offers unparalleled clarity, headroom, and power for covering large areas, ensuring an exceptional sound experience for all listeners regardless of their distance from the speakers. Taborowski also highlighted the benefits of using the Superfly enclosures in the TV studio area, emphasizing their compact design, lightweight build, and ability to deliver high sound pressure levels with studio-quality sound. The cardioid characteristics of the Superfly’s LF section were particularly useful in keeping unwanted low frequencies off the stage, making it an ideal choice for constrained spaces.

Under Jerzy Taborowski’s leadership, Gigant Sound consistently delivers top-notch audio quality at major events in Poland. The 2025 WOŚP Finale was yet another example of their commitment to excellence in sound production.
