Löanshark, the Spanish rock band, has recently dropped their sophomore album titled ‘No Sins To Confess’. Consisting of Lögan Heads on vocals and guitar, Aless Oppossed on bass, and Angel Smolski on drums, the band promises a true, heavy, and loud experience reminiscent of the 80s heavy metal scene. Released on February 14, 2025, via Rock of Angels Records, the album offers a total of ten tracks that will surely captivate metal enthusiasts.

The tracklist for ‘No Sins To Confess’ includes songs like “Electric Shockin’ Waves,” “Machine Gunner,” “The City Goes Fast,” “Another Man In The Trunk,” “Backstabber,” “Wet n’ Wild,” “Midnight Shooter,” “Bad Guys Don’t Lose,” “Open Fire,” and “Heavy Metal Addicts.” According to a press release by Dustin Hardman, Löanshark’s album is now available for fans who appreciate authentic heavy metal music that refuses to compromise on its traditional roots.

The band’s bassist, Aless, mentioned in an interview the band’s commitment to an old-school sound that resonates with their DNA. The album cover art reflects an ’80s movie atmosphere, depicting a smoky alley, mysterious yet dangerous female legs concealing a hidden weapon, and an ominous scenario with a hitwoman potentially holding another man in the trunk. This aesthetic choice aligns with Löanshark’s desire to maintain a mafia-like atmosphere that sets them apart as a band.

Founded as a power trio in 2017 in Barcelona, Löanshark has quickly made a name for itself in the music scene, particularly within the NWOTHM genre. Their debut EP ‘The Warning Session’ gained attention, as did their singles, including the underground hit “Fast, Heavy, Loud’N Proud.” The recently released ‘No Sins To Confess’ features re-recorded early tracks such as “Machine Gunner” and “Heavy Metal Addicts,” as well as a cover of Marseille’s “Open Fire,” showcasing the band’s musical growth and versatility.

Aless emphasized the band’s effort to infuse their traditional heavy metal sound with a fresh approach, ensuring that each track stands out independently without mimicking previous songs. The essence of Löanshark’s live performances aligns closely with their studio recordings, promising audiences an energetic and authentic experience delivered by the band’s passionate trio.

Löanshark’s music video for “Electric Shocking Waves” serves as a visual accompaniment to their electrifying sound, inviting listeners into the immersive world of ‘No Sins To Confess.’ For fans of unapologetic, genuine heavy metal, Löanshark’s latest album promises a tantalizing journey through the band’s dynamic musical landscape.
