Former Blink-182 guitarist Mike Skiba made his debut appearance with the band at a charity event held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles to benefit fire relief efforts in the area.

Skiba, known for his role as the lead vocalist of Alkaline Trio since 1996, joined Blink-182 in 2015, where he balanced his responsibilities with both bands until parting ways with Blink-182 in 2022 upon the return of Tom DeLonge. During his tenure with Blink-182, Skiba contributed to the albums ‘California’ (2016) and ‘Nine’ (2019).

The show, organized to raise funds for various fire-related organizations including the Pasadena Humane Society, the California Fire Department, the LAFD Foundation, and the ARC Firefighter Fund, featured a special performance by Alkaline Trio alongside Skiba.

Mark Hoppus, a founding member of Blink-182, humorously introduced Skiba on stage by joking that the guitarist had won a guitar-playing contest. Skiba then joined the band to perform ‘Bored To Death,’ a track from the ‘California’ album on which he collaborated with Hoppus.

The setlist for the Blink-182 performance on February 13, 2025, included classic hits like ‘Feeling This,’ ‘What’s My Age Again?,’ and ‘All the Small Things,’ as well as newer tracks such as ‘Aliens Exist’ and ‘Up All Night.’ The show ended on a high note with an encore that included ‘Dammit’ and ‘One More Time.’

Not to be outdone, Alkaline Trio took the stage with a setlist featuring fan favorites like ‘Time to Waste,’ ‘Private Eye,’ and ‘Radio,’ showcasing their signature punk rock sound to the delight of the audience.
