During the song, Drake also mentions Steel again, saying, “Shoutout, Brian Steel/Take off the cuffs.” Steel, when asked about the song, expressed his admiration for Drake, calling him inspirational, intelligent, kind, considerate, and generous. He noted that Drake is a role model for the community, and he felt humbled by the mention in the song. On the track, Drake also gives a brief nod to Judge Paige Reese Whitaker, acknowledging her role in Young Thug’s release from the trial. The YSL trial, which concluded in December, was the longest in Georgia’s history.
