The Avett Brothers scheduled for performance in El Dorado
The highly anticipated concert featuring The Avett Brothers and Blackberry Smoke is scheduled to take place at the MAD Amphitheater on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with the show commencing at 7:30 p.m. Early access to tickets will be available for MAD Members starting on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m., followed by the general public on Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m.. Tickets will be available for purchase at the MAD box office located at 101 East Locust Street or online at eldomad.com. Prices for tickets will range from $45 to $150, with additional service fees applicable.

The Avett Brothers, four-time GRAMMY Award nominees, first gained mainstream attention with their widely praised major label debut “I and Love and You” in 2009. Their subsequent albums, including “The Carpenter”, “Magpie and the Dandelion”, and “True Sadness”, have all enjoyed significant commercial success, garnering praise from critics and fans alike. The band’s 2019 release, “Closer Than Together”, featured the hit single “High Steppin'”, which climbed to the top spot on the Americana Radio Singles Chart.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Avett Brothers released “The Third Gleam”, which quickly rose to #1 on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart and earned acclaim for the poignant single “Victory”. Their latest offering, simply titled “The Avett Brothers”, is a culmination of natural songwriting that showcases the band’s musical evolution. Recognized for their contributions to music, The Avett Brothers have been inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Americana Music Association.

Most notably, their album “You Hear Georgia” claimed the #1 spot on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart, while “Be Right Here” achieved top 5 status on the same chart.
