Panda Bear Releases Latest Track “Ends Meet”

Panda Bear, also known as Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox, has recently released a new track titled “Ends Meet,” giving fans a glimpse into his upcoming album, Sinister Grift. This single is the third teaser from the record, following the previous releases of “Ferry Lady” and “Defense,” the latter being a collaboration with Cindy Lee.

“Ends Meet” features a diverse group of contributors, including Geologist and Avey Tare from Animal Collective on instruments, along with vocal appearances from Maria Reis and Rivka Ravede from Spirit of the Beehive. The song stays true to Lennox’s unique style, incorporating hypnotic loops, intricate harmonies, and intricate textures that create a mesmerizing listening experience.

In addition to his new music, Panda Bear is preparing for an active live performance schedule. The Sinister Grift tour kicks off in Minneapolis, with many more performances lined up to support the album. Fans can also catch him at the upcoming Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City, where he will share the stage with prominent artists such as Weezer, TV on the Radio, Gang of Four, New Order, and the recent addition of Rilo Kiley to the lineup.

Sinister Grift is set to be released on February 28 through Domino, marking Lennox’s first solo album since 2019’s Buoys. Although he has been busy with various versions of Reset, a collaborative project with Sonic Boom, including Reset in Dub and the Reset Mariachi EP, fans are eager for the release of his newest solo work.
