Unreleased CREEPOID demo debuts before reunion concert!

Creepoid, the Philadelphia-based alternative shoegaze band, is making a comeback with a reunion show at Union Transfer on February 15, 2025. This performance will mark their return to the same venue where they ended their run in early 2018. The band is reuniting with its original lineup, which includes singer/guitarist Sean Miller, singer/bassist Anna Troxell, and drummer Patrick Troxell, along with Andrew Clinco of Drab Majesty on second guitar. The supporting acts for the show will be Full Body 2 and Halloween.
To celebrate this special event, Creepoid is releasing a never-before-heard demo that offers a fresh interpretation of George Washington as a shady character with wooden teeth and a wig, experiencing an identity crisis while selling dubious goods to passersby from the depths of sewers. This new track is part of a collection called Gutter Jeweler, comprising lost demos from 2016. The demos will be available on cassettes and as a limited lathe set, with only 50 sets up for production. These lathe sets will be exclusively sold at the Union Transfer show, featuring four songs in two separate lathes.
In addition to this new release, Creepoid’s third and final album, Cemetery Highrise Slum, is being reissued. Originally released just before the closure of Collect Records, the album has been missing from most digital platforms for nearly a decade. The record is now back for streaming and is receiving an LP reissue from Philadelphia’s Abandon Everything Records, which can be purchased at the show or through mail order. Preorders are already available on Bandcamp for those who want to secure a copy.
Since their farewell in 2018, two members of Creepoid moved to Austin and formed the hardcore band Mugger. As of now, the Union Transfer show is the only confirmed performance by the band.
Creepoid’s return promises to be an exciting event for fans, as they unveil new music and revisit past records for streaming and reissue. The opportunity to see them live after several years will surely be a nostalgic and memorable experience for longtime followers of the band.
